Consultation

Consultation is a key aspect of our work with clients from developing county library, heritage and culture and creativity plans to evaluating community climate action projects and Youth STEAM projects. During these processes we have effectively identified and engaged with a range of heritage, youth and community groups in the county, and with the general public.

We’ve facilitated and reported on consultation with various target groups including teachers, youth workers, young people, senior citizens, creative practitioners, STEM professionals, university and local authority staff and library service users.

Primary school children –
consultation on creative interests

We worked with Fingal Library Service and author and artist Alan Nolan to consult with children in primary schools in Dublin 15. The aim was to explore creative interests and the types of activities they’d like to see provided for Cruinniú na nÓg, a national day of free creativity for children and young people.

Creativity and Culture Plans

We worked with the Fingal Culture Team and Creative Ireland Co-ordinator on development of both Fingal Culture and Creativity plans. We designed and reported on online surveys and facilitated and reported on consultation meetings with artists and creative practitioners, the Public Participation Network and various community groups in order to ensure broad engagement in the process.

Library Development Plans

While working with the library services of Fingal and Louth we’ve planned, facilitated, and reported on PESTLE and SWOT workshops with management and staff. We also conducted public consultation through online surveys and meetings with a variety of groups ranging from Comhairle na nÓg to the Men’s Sheds.
